From shops, pubs and cafes to indoor climbing spots, Bromley is a lot more dog-friendly than you may think.
Here’s our pick of the best dog friendly Bromley activities;
Beldi Maison
Beldi Maison is a dog friendly Bromley shop that sells ethical, eco-friendly and sustainable products for people (and pups!) of all ages.
Owner, Sodia, has a dog of her own - Myla the cockapoo. Myla often greets customers as they browse the beautiful selection of gifts, refillable products and homewares for sale.
Beldi Maison also stocks a selection of ethical pet accessories; including collars, shampoo, treats and dog toys. If you pop in with your pup and they will be offered some of their lovely dog treats!
They run regular events throughout the year and even offer private hire options for kids parties.

Roots and Shoots
Roots and Shoots sells flowers, plants, fruit and vegetables to the people (and pooches) of Bromley.
You can also order products direct to your door through their online shop. But we’ll use any excuse to pop in and see the array of beautiful natural gifts for sale at the shop in Sundridge Park!
It’s always a pleasure to take our furry friends to visit Roots and Shoots. We enjoy chatting to the lovely folks in the store and ogling the latest seasonal displays in the window.
Star and Garter pub
The Star and Garter pub opened its doors in 2017 to offer outstanding beer to Bromley locals.
It also happens to be a dog friendly Bromley hotspot! Beer connoisseurs can enjoy a pint whilst petting their pooch in this welcoming Bromley boozer.
Expect a range of interesting craft beers on tap, cask ales and a huge selection of bottles that can be purchased to take away. There’s a little beer garden out the back if your dog needs a walk during your visit.
Rhino Boulder
Bromley’s newest indoor climbing spot is also dog friendly!
Bring your best buddy along to Rhino Boulder so they can watch you scale the various bouldering walls on offer. Then, relax with a drink in the upstairs cafe and watch other climbers master the various difficulty levels at floor level below.
Rhino Boulder offers instructed and independent climbing and is suitable for ages 4 and up. Dogs must be well behaved and remain on the wooden walkway area at all times.
The Crown pub
The Crown pub in Sundridge Park is one of the most dog friendly places we’ve visited in Bromley.
They offer dog treats at the bar and even have a doggy Wall of Fame. It features 160 dogs!
The pub also serves beautiful food and an array of drinks. A huge beer garden out the back makes the perfect setting for a Sunday Roast or a quick after work tipple in the Summer.
Black Sheep Coffee
Black Sheep Coffee is a reasonably new addition to Bromley’s High Street. It comes in at number six on our dog friendly Bromley list.
Dogs are welcome anywhere in the shop. And, there are even water bowls at the pay desk to make your furry friend feel at home.
The best thing on offer at Black Sheep? It’s got to be their Biscoff waffle - absolutely delicious!
Winston’s Coffee at Queensmead Rec Ground
Just a stone’s throw from Shortlands station, Queensmead Recreation Ground is a popular spot for people and dogs to exercise and socialise.
It boasts lots of open space, a playground for the kids (no dogs allowed there sadly) and, best of all, Winston’s Coffee van.
Winston’s sells fair trade, tasty coffee and snacks to Shortlands locals. Find the red van parked at the bottom of the rec ground, beside the Bowls club, on Tuesday to Friday 8am to 12pm and Saturdays 9am to 1pm.
Don’t forget to grab a treat for your furry friend whilst you wait for your coffee!
Larder and Little Larder
Larder sells premium meats and cheeses, expertly butchered to your specifications. With beef, lamb, pork, poultry, game, veal and subscription boxes to choose from, there’s something here for every meat lover.
Dog lovers are also welcome at Larder - just keep an eye on them near the sausages!
Across the road, Little Larder sells hot drinks and toasted sandwiches. Dogs are welcome to sit inside (downstairs only) while you enjoy your coffee and cheese toastie.
Dry cleaners in Bromley
Did you know that Pressed for Time and Bromley Express Dry Cleaners are both dog friendly?
Both dry cleaners boast a range of services and are highly rated by many happy customers.
Pressed for Time offers domestic cleaning, commercial cleaning and ironing. While Bromley Express Dry Cleaners can offer a swift turnaround on laundry, dry cleaning, ironing, repairs and alterations.
Sundridge Barbers
Sundridge Barbers is a family run business with over 30 years’ experience.
Dogs are welcome to join you as you enjoy the traditional barbershop experience. The shop accepts bookings and walk-ins and is open Tuesday to Saturday.
We also love their ever changing window displays, brightening up Sundridge Parade across all seasons.
The Lavender House Cafe
The Lavender House Cafe is a friendly, award-winning cafe in Sundridge Park. Dogs are welcome in the garden area, where you’ll also find a playground for small children.
The cafe serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, artisan coffee, hand made cake and cream teas. It’s open every day, from 8am on weekdays and 9am on weekends.
